Youth Music
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Recharge Fund: Racial Equity, launched by Youth Music, is a £2.4 million multi‑year programme aimed at addressing structural racial inequities in the UK’s creative sector. It offers core funding ranging from £40,000 to £120,000 (distributed over up to four years) to eligible creative organisations that are led by, or work closely with, communities experiencing racial injustice and that deliver programmes for children and young people. The grant supports organisational development, resilience, wellbeing and the delivery of inclusive music‑making activities across England, with particular attention to regions such as London, the Midlands, the North East, the North West, the South East and the South West. Applications are open to charities, community groups and other not‑for‑profit entities. No application fee is required. Successful applicants receive flexible funding that can be used for staff costs, equipment, venue hire, outreach, and other eligible expenses that further the fund’s objectives. The deadline for the current round is 4 December 2026, and the fund operates on a rolling basis for future rounds. Detailed guidance and the application form are available on Youth Music’s website.
