Real Instituto de Pintores al Óleo | Exposición Anual 2026
Royal Institute of Oil Painters
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Royal Institute of Oil Painters (ROI) presents its Annual Exhibition 2026, the only major national art society devoted exclusively to oil painting. The exhibition will run at Mall Galleries, London, from 26 November to 12 December 2026, showcasing works by established ROI members alongside selected entries from an open call. Artists worldwide, aged 18 or over, may submit up to six oil paintings (maximum three may be selected) created within the last three years. Submissions must be oil or water‑mixable oil paint; acrylics are not accepted. Each work must not exceed 244 cm on its longest side, must be original, and must not have been previously exhibited at Mall Galleries. The call opens on 8 June 2026 and closes on 9 October 2026 (midday). A non‑refundable submission fee of £22 per work applies (£14.50 per work for artists aged 35 or under). Selected artists will have their works displayed in the North, East & West Galleries, with the opportunity to sell their pieces, receive exhibition exposure, and compete for prize awards worth over £10,000, including the Winsor & Newton Young Artist Awards. Participants are also invited to the private view and may be considered for ROI membership. The exhibition is open to the public, with admission £7 (free for Friends of Mall Galleries and under‑25s).
