Located where redwoods meet the Pacific Ocean on coastal Pomo land, the Re‑Formed Jewelry Artist in Residence is a five‑week program (Nov 1 – Dec 7 2026) at the Mendocino Art Center designed for intermediate and advanced jewelry artists. Residents receive a private studio apartment with 24‑hour studio access, a fully equipped jewelry workshop (bench with flex shaft, rolling mills, soldering stations, enameling kilns, laser welder, etc.), and the opportunity to exhibit their work in a gallery at the residency’s conclusion. The residency is self‑directed, includes optional teaching opportunities, discounted classes, and a mid‑term artist talk. Sliding‑scale rates are offered to ensure accessibility. Applications are due August 16 2026.
