Programa de Comisarios en Residencia de MIFA 2027

Miami International Fine Arts (MIFA) announces the Curators‑in‑Residence Program 2027, a twelve‑month residency (January through December 2027) designed for emerging and mid‑career curators, art researchers, writers, cultural producers, and interdisciplinary practitioners. Selected curators will work closely with MIFA’s Artistic Director to evaluate exhibition proposals, mentor participating artists, and develop up to five exhibitions throughout the year. Responsibilities include reviewing artist applications, conducting studio visits, writing curatorial essays, and participating in installation, opening receptions, and public programming. The residency offers professional development, mentorship, access to MIFA’s galleries and facilities, and the opportunity to shape the institution’s exhibition calendar. Applicants must submit a CV, portfolio, letters of intent, writing samples, and a brief research proposal via the official Google Form. The program is unpaid; participants are responsible for their own travel, accommodation, and related expenses. Fluency in English or Spanish is valued, and applicants should be able to attend in‑person meetings and events in the Miami area. The deadline for applications is 13 September 2026 (23:59 ET).
