Programa «Comunidades Creativas» – 1.ª convocatoria 2026/27

The Creative Communities Scheme (CCS) is a joint funding programme between Creative New Zealand and South Waikato District Council. Round 1 of the 2026/27 cycle is open from 3 August to 5 October 2026. Applicants may be individuals (NZ citizens or permanent residents) or groups and can propose projects in any of the listed art forms – craft/object arts, dance, inter‑arts, literature, Māori arts, multi‑artform (including film), music, Pacific arts, theatre and visual arts. Funding of up to NZ$5,000 can be used for materials, venue or equipment hire, personnel and administrative costs, and promotion or publicity. Applications are free and can be submitted via paper (collected at council offices) or digitally (email/online). Drop‑in information sessions are held in Putāruru, Tīrau and Tokoroa. Individuals must be New Zealand citizens or permanent residents; groups are also eligible. Open to a wide range of art forms listed on the scheme page.
