Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Fire Station Artists’ Studios, in partnership with Chronic Collective, invites visual artists who live with long‑term physical, mental, intellectual or sensory barriers to apply for the 2026 Chronic Connections networking programme. The programme consists of a speed‑curating event on 24 September 2026, where each artist meets four international curators for 15‑minute conversations, followed by a one‑to‑one studio visit or meeting with a selected curator in the weeks or months thereafter. Selected artists receive a €200 participation fee and may access additional support funding for transport, masks, captioning and printing. Virtual participation is also possible. The aim is to build capacity, foster inclusive dialogue and create longer‑term relationships between disabled artists and curators. Applications are open to practising visual artists of any career stage who are over 18, reside in Ireland, and have not participated in the programme the previous year. The deadline for applications is Monday 17 August 2026 at 5 pm Irish time.
