Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

The Daisy Lane Print & Book Artist Residency, hosted by the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA), is a new studio program focused on book arts, letterpress, screenprinting, Risograph, and related media. The inaugural season will begin in 2027, and artists will be selected for a 2–4‑week residency based on conceptual creativity, technical knowledge, and familiarity with at least one of the media offered. Residents will work in a newly renovated, light‑filled studio equipped with a Vandercook 219AB flatbed press, Chandler & Price platen press, guillotine, polymer platemaker, extensive type collections, screenprinting setup, and Risograph machine. Housing is provided in a nearby one‑bedroom apartment, and artists have access to BIMA’s events, archives, Bistro, and community. Applications for the 2027 residency open on October 1, 2026 and close on October 31, 2026.
