The Daisy Lane Print & Book Artist Residency, hosted by the Bainbridge Island Museum of Art (BIMA), is a new studio program focused on book arts, letterpress, screenprinting, Risograph, and related media. The inaugural season will begin in 2027, and artists will be selected for a 2–4‑week residency based on conceptual creativity, technical knowledge, and familiarity with at least one of the media offered. Residents will work in a newly renovated, light‑filled studio equipped with a Vandercook 219AB flatbed press, Chandler & Price platen press, guillotine, polymer platemaker, extensive type collections, screenprinting setup, and Risograph machine. Housing is provided in a nearby one‑bedroom apartment, and artists have access to BIMA’s events, archives, Bistro, and community. Applications for the 2027 residency open on October 1, 2026 and close on October 31, 2026. The call is open to individual artists working in book arts or related print media; no age, nationality, or fee restrictions are mentioned.
