Open Ground – Convocatoria de candidaturas (Bangkok Kunsthalle)

Bangkok Kunsthalle has launched the Open Ground initiative, a program designed to sponsor the creative practices of emerging artists and curators. The first call for applications was issued in November 2025 and will be offered annually. The initiative supports talents aged 23 to 35, providing them with space to develop bold artistic programs that explore interdisciplinary possibilities. The inaugural exhibition, titled “Mooring” and curated by Thapong Srisai, runs from 24 July to 29 September 2026 at Bangkok Kunsthalle and is free to the public. Applicants will receive exhibition space and institutional support, with the program backed by partners such as the Office of Contemporary Art Norway, Pro Helvetia, Ghost Foundation, and OPENFIELD. No application fee is mentioned. The call is recurring each year, with the next round expected to open in November.
