Convocatoria abierta: Exposición «White Elephant», de KAYA, en el ICAT

The artist duo KAYA – Kerstin Brätsch and Debo Eilers, both teaching at the Hochschule für Bildende Künste Hamburg, invite Hamburg‑based artists to take part in a festive “White Elephant” exhibition at the Institute for Contemporary Art & Transfer (ICAT). Participants should bring a signed artwork they are proud of, wrapped or crated as a gift, suitable for wall or ceiling display. The works will be installed in the exhibition space and later exchanged during a White Elephant gift‑exchange on 16 December 2026. After the exchange, each artist keeps the received piece, which remains on display until the exhibition closes in late January 2027. No application fee is required, and no monetary prize is offered; the benefit is exhibition exposure and participation in the gift‑exchange. The call is open exclusively to artists with residence in Hamburg, regardless of university affiliation. Registration is handled via the provided contact form on the HFBK website.
