Convocatoria abierta n.º 3 «Uncharted Grounds» con el Festival L.E.V.

The Realities in Transition (RiT) program invites individual artists with VR development experience to create a virtual world for VRChat as part of a 6‑month online residency. The residency, titled "Uncharted Grounds: A Journey Through Virtual Space", runs from January to June 2027 and culminates in a premiere at L.E.V. Festival in Gijón, Spain. Selected participants will work collaboratively, combining 3D environments, sound, interactive elements and spatial storytelling to build a walkable, voyage‑themed world. The program offers three grants of €10,000 gross per artist, an additional production budget of up to €15,000 gross, mentoring sessions, workshops, and public presentations. Applicants must be from the listed EU countries, possess skills in Unity, 3D/2D art, animation, sound, narrative, character creation, or UX design, and submit a short video and application form. The residency is fully online, with no travel or accommodation costs included. The deadline for applications is 23 October 2026, 23:59 CEST.
