Convocatoria abierta 2026/27: Residencia artística Anfitrión en Marbella – «Luz y mar»

Anfitrión Marbella has opened its annual Open Call 2026/27 for the Art Residency titled “Light and Sea”. The residency invites visual artists working in any discipline – painting, drawing, photography, sculpture, installation, textile, video, sound or mixed media – to develop a new project inspired by the Mediterranean light and sea. Applicants must be over 21, of any nationality, and either reside in Spain or hold a valid visa for the duration of the stay. The call closes on 15 November 2026. Selected artists will spend between 15 days and two months at Anfitrión’s boutique art hotel in Puerto Banús, Marbella, between November and March. The programme provides a private suite for accommodation, return travel from any location within Spain, an equipped studio, curatorial support, and a final exhibition at the venue. To apply, artists must email art@anfitrion.art with the subject “Open Call Light and Sea Application”, attaching a project statement, portfolio, artistic CV, motivation letter, and preferred duration. No application fee is required. This residency offers a unique blend of creative freedom, professional visibility, and immersion in the cultural landscape of the Costa del Sol.
