The Córtex Frontal residency in Arraiolos, Portugal, invites artists, researchers, writers and musicians to participate in a 4‑week program from 15 March to 11 April 2027. The program provides private accommodation in a XVIII‑century manor house, studio space equipped with printmaking, textile and music facilities, and full access to shared kitchen, living areas, and outdoor spaces. Participants receive a weekly stipend of €300, which covers accommodation, utilities, Wi‑Fi, laundry, bicycles and a discount on workshops. The residency includes regular project follow‑up, curatorship, portfolio presentations, networking with local and regional resources, and excursions to the region’s natural, historical and industrial heritage sites. Applicants must submit an application via the provided Google Form by 31 October 2026; shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Zoom interview. The residency is open to multidisciplinary artists and offers a supportive environment to focus on creative work and engage with the local community.
