KAGANHOTEL 河岸旅館: Residencia artística

KAGANHOTEL is a co-living space for young artists and creatives to live and work. Artists can now apply for our residency plan with the application forms and portfolio. Our residency rooms are located at the 3rd floor and has separate entrance to the hostel&hotel guests. Th room is limitedly furnitured with desk, chair and air-conditioner. For those who are accepted as residency artists we provide futon (Japanese-style bedding set) and access to the ateliers. There are Japanese artists and artists from outside Japan in our community. You can enjoy! All creatives are welcomed! We are welcome all the young creatives including Artists / Curators / Musicians / Designers /Fashion Designers / Cooks / Dancers / Producers to grow our community here. We give priority to young artists under the age of 40 and atelier is only available to material -based (painting, sculpture, craft, etc.) artists.

be an artist or be involved in any creative discipline such as designer, dancer, etc. plan to stay for more than 2 months (60 days). be willing to communicate with non-English-native speakers, including our staffs and residency artists. have a portfolio or own website with works created within the last 2 years.
