Instituto Francés de Egipto – Residencia en París 2027 (Cité internationale des arts)

The French Institute in Egypt (Institut français d'Égypte) announces its 2027 Call for Applications for a three‑month artist residency at the Cité internationale des arts in Paris, France. The programme, supported by the Institut français, the French Institute in Egypt and the Cité internationale des arts, offers Egyptian artists and artists living or working in Egypt the chance to develop a research or creative project in an international environment. Selected participants will receive international travel to Paris, studio accommodation at the Cité internationale des arts in the historic Marais district, and a residency allowance for the duration of the stay. Residencies are scheduled between April 2027 and April 2028. The call is open to a broad range of disciplines, including visual arts, craft, fashion design, music, dance, film‑making, and other creative practices. Applications must be submitted by the deadline of 25 August 2026. No application fee is required.
