Beca de edición India-Reino Unido 2027
Jaipur BookMark & British Council
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The India‑UK Publishing Fellowship 2027 is a joint initiative by Jaipur BookMark (JBM) and the British Council, designed to strengthen international publishing collaborations and champion literature in translation. The fellowship selects two independent publishers—one based in India and one in the UK—to attend Jaipur BookMark 2027 (14–18 January) and the London Book Fair 2027 (16–18 March). Participants will engage in curated networking, industry seminars, and professional development sessions, with opportunities to meet publishers, editors, translators, and other stakeholders. Eligibility requires a minimum of five years’ experience in publishing, employment or close affiliation with an independent publishing house, a focus on translations or new voices, and a demonstrated interest in building cross‑border connections. The program offers return economy travel, accommodation for 4–5 nights in each city, visa fee reimbursement, per diem in London, and access passes to Jaipur BookMark, Jaipur Literature Festival, and the London Book Fair. Fellows will also receive curated introductions, visibility opportunities, and potential panel participation. The fellowship is a short‑term, annual program that encourages long‑term collaboration between the Indian and UK publishing sectors.
