«Hope in Motion»: esculturas artísticas móviles

Hope in Motion is a call for mobile art sculptures that encourages artists to explore community and hopeful futures through kinetic works. Artists of all ages and experience levels are welcome to submit. The exhibition will take place at Soul Sanctuary in Durham, NC, during the North Durham Farmers’ Market hours in November 2026. Works must be mobile sculptures that include at least one of the following symbols: heart, eye, spiral, or flowers, and must fit within the specified size and weight limits (maximum 18 inches wide and deep, 22 inches long, 8-10 ounces). Artists must complete an interest form by September 30, 2026, and submit the final artwork by October 21, 2026. The exhibition will run on November 7, 13, and 21, 2026, with each showing from 12–4 p.m. (or 3–7 p.m. on the 13th). The Durham Art Guild will provide exhibition space and support, but no stipend or commission is offered. Artists are encouraged to include a written statement with their submission. The call is open to all artists and is free to apply.
