Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

The Harry Ransom Center at the University of Texas at Austin invites applications for its 2027–2028 Research Fellowship Program. Up to 50 fellowships will be awarded to support projects that require substantial on‑site use of the Center’s internationally renowned collections in the humanities. Fellowships are open to graduate students, current and former academic faculty at any career stage, and independent researchers—including journalists and artists—whose work engages deeply with archival materials. Residency lengths range from one week to two months, with stipends provided to support travel and research. The program offers three fellowship categories: Postdoctoral Fellowships ($3,500 per month, 1–2 months), Dissertation Fellowships ($2,500 per month for graduate students working on dissertations), and Travel Stipends ($2,000 for eligible applicants). All categories include a one‑time $500 stipend for international applicants to cover visa and travel costs. Applicants must submit a three‑page proposal and a letter of recommendation in English, and the application deadline is November 6, 2026. Fellows will have access to the Center’s vast collections, a shared office for research, and the opportunity to engage with the Center’s community through events and seminars.
