CERN
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Grand Prix Resonance is a special edition of the annual Resonance residency programme, presented by Arts at CERN in partnership with the City of Geneva and the Republic and Canton of Geneva. It invites two artists working as a duo, or an artist collective, who are based in the Canton of Geneva, to apply for a fully funded two‑month residency at CERN in the summer of 2027 (June–July). Selected participants will receive a grant of 30,000 CHF for research, development and production, as well as a monthly stipend of 5,000 CHF per artist (or 10,000 CHF per month for a collective). The residency includes curatorial mentoring, access to CERN’s scientific facilities, and intensive dialogue with scientists, engineers and staff. Applications are open to artists aged 18 or over, residing or having a registered office in the Canton of Geneva. Proposals should explore digital, multimedia, transmedia, sound‑based or immersive practices and be submitted in English or French via the online form by 23 November 2026. The selection panel will evaluate innovation, relevance to CERN’s research, and feasibility. Successful applicants must be present at CERN Monday‑Friday, engage with the community, and submit a residency report within two months after the programme.
