Convocatoria abierta de «Gathered VII» – MOCA GA

The Museum of Contemporary Art of Georgia (MOCA GA) is launching the seventh edition of its biennial group exhibition Gathered VII: Georgia Artists Selecting Georgia Artists. This open call targets artists who are 18 years of age or older and reside in the state of Georgia, with the requirement that their home or studio address be within the state. Applicants must submit digital images (or video for new‑media works) of three recent pieces created within the last three years, accompanied by a short biography, a brief artist statement, and a $35 non‑refundable entrance fee. The call closes at midnight on Monday, November 1, 2026, and selected artists will be notified by December 11, 2026. The exhibition will run from January 23 to March 27, 2027, with artwork drop‑off scheduled for January 7‑9, 2027, and pick‑up on March 29‑30, 2027. MOCA GA will provide extensive marketing, staff assistance for installation, pedestals, wall shelving, projectors/monitors, interpretive materials, and a public opening reception. Awards total up to $5,000 in cash prizes. All selected works must be exhibited during the exhibition period, and artists are expected to assist with installation as needed.
