CONVOCATORIA ABIERTA DE CREART 3.0: TODOS SOMOS MODELOS A SEGUIR. Residencia de arte multimedia inmersivo en el Museo y Centro de Ciencias Tiima, Oulu, Finlandia

The City of Oulu, together with the CreArt 3.0 network, invites a professional media artist or an interdisciplinary artist duo to a four‑week residency (16 November – 17 December 2026) at the Museum and Science Centre Tiima. The selected artist(s) will develop a concept for an immersive, spatial media artwork to be presented in Visio, the Deep Space environment at Tiima. The residency focuses on prototyping and concept development rather than a finished artwork, with a required demo or prototype and a technical plan. Applicants are encouraged to address themes of tolerance, inclusion and belonging, and may involve local young people or communities. The call is open to artists born, residing or professionally based in specific CreArt partner cities across Europe, as well as members of the Croatian Association of Fine Artists, Ukrainian artists via Artists Council Dialogue in Lviv, and artists linked to Atelierhaus Salzamt (Linz) and Bluecoat (Liverpool). The residency provides an artist fee (€3,500 for a solo artist or €6,400 for a duo), travel to and from Oulu, accommodation, daily allowances, local curatorial and technical support, and access to the Visio immersive environment. Applications are submitted as a single PDF in English through the CreArt Open Calls platform by 1 November 2026.
