Convocatoria abierta para artistas griegos para la sección «País invitado» de BASE 2026

BASE Istanbul, Turkey’s premier exhibition for newly graduated artists, has announced that Greece will be the guest country for the 2026 edition of the fair. A special section will showcase contemporary Greek art, offering emerging Greek artists a chance to present their work to an international audience and connect with Turkey’s art scene. The open call is aimed at artists currently studying or who have graduated within the last ten years from fine arts schools or related institutions in Greece. Submissions may include a wide range of disciplines such as textile art, graphic design, visual communication design, and other contemporary artistic expressions. Interested artists must submit a PDF portfolio with work samples, a CV, and contact information (an Instagram link is optional) by September 13, 2026. The call is free of charge. Selected artists will have their work exhibited at BASE 2026 in Istanbul, gaining international visibility and networking opportunities. The initiative is supported by Trendyol Art as Grand Sponsor and Cultural Partner.
