Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Cité internationale des arts, founded in 1965, is the world’s largest arts residency campus located in the Marais district of Paris. The foundation hosts over 5,500 artists annually from more than 100 countries, providing studio and apartment accommodations, as well as a vibrant cultural environment. In 2026, the institution announced a series of open calls for the 2026–2027 residency cycle. Applications are due 30 August 2026 and are available through several partner programs, including the Institut français d'Indonésie, Fundação Oriente, and the École des Beaux-arts de Bretagne. Eligibility varies by partnership: some calls are open to all artists and cultural professionals, while others require applicants to have lived outside France for at least five years. The residency offers 3–12 month stays in the Marais, with private live/work studios overlooking the Seine. Participants receive studio space, accommodation, and support from partner organizations, which may include travel, insurance, and visa assistance. The program emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration and encourages artists to develop projects that engage with the Parisian cultural scene. Applications are submitted through the institution’s online portal, and selected artists will be notified by early September 2026.
