Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Clay City, a collaboration between Throwing Shapes and Staycity, invites established ceramic artists to participate in a 3‑month professional residency in Dublin. The program runs from 4 January to 31 March 2027, with applications opening on 15 September 2026 and closing on 5 October 2026. Applicants must be established practitioners with at least three years of independent work, advanced ceramics skills, and legal entitlement to live and work in Ireland. The residency offers full access to Throwing Shapes’ state‑of‑the‑art studio, free accommodation in a centrally located apartment provided by Staycity, mentorship, a solo exhibition at the end of the residency, and opportunities to teach workshops and engage with the local ceramics community. While a stipend is not included, applicants are expected to plan how they will cover living costs during the residency. The program aims to support artists in developing their practice and contribute to Ireland’s leading ceramics community.
