Convocatoria para expositores: Programa de exposiciones 2027 del Victoria Park Centre for the Arts
Victoria Park Centre for the Arts
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The Victoria Park Centre for the Arts (VPCA) is seeking contemporary art proposals for its 2027 Exhibition Program. Applications are open to artists of all abilities and backgrounds, with a focus on First Nations, culturally and linguistically diverse, LGBTIQA+, artists with disability, and those residing in the local Victoria Park area. Five distinct gallery spaces are available – Main Gallery (32 m²), Front Room Gallery (16 m²), Entranceway Gallery, Children’s Gallery, and Box Gallery – each offered for a three‑week period. VPCA provides exhibition invigilation, sales management, online promotion via social media and newsletters, and installation assistance. While there is no fee to submit an Expression of Interest, selected artists will be charged a hire fee for the gallery space and a 25 % commission on sales. Applications close on 4 September 2026, after which successful artists will receive a formal agreement outlining the exhibition schedule and support. The program aims to foster experimental, socially engaged, and community‑oriented practice, encouraging both emerging and established artists to present work that connects with the local community.
