Centro de Arte Fotográfico «Three Shadows» de Xiamen

Three Shadows Photography Art Centre, China’s first art space dedicated solely to photography and new media, runs an Artist‑in‑Residence (AIR) program at its Xiamen location. The residency is primarily aimed at photographers but also welcomes artists working in other media, researchers and curators who wish to live and work in China. Residents receive a private studio, living quarters, project assistance, event support, access to a darkroom, library, publishing house, exhibition hall and a café. The centre hosts a range of international exhibitions and educational activities, fostering exchange between Chinese and global photography communities. Applications can be submitted online via a Wufoo form or by email. The programme is open year‑round (except during the Chinese Spring Festival) and does not charge an application fee; however, the centre charges a daily rate of 250 RMB for studio use, which covers accommodation and workspace. No specific deadline is set, making the call rolling. The residency is located in Xiamen, Fujian Province, China.
