Convocatoria de propuestas: Programas de dinamización comunitaria 2027 en los museos de historia de Toronto
City of Toronto
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The City of Toronto’s Toronto History Museums are accepting proposals for 2027 Community Activation Programs under the theme “Nourish.” The call welcomes ideas from individual artists, cultural practitioners, workshop facilitators, and community‑based organisations to create workshops, performances, exhibitions, presentations, and other participatory activities within museum spaces. Proposals are evaluated on their ability to foster connection, creativity, learning, and inclusivity, with a particular emphasis on reconciliation, equity, and accessibility. Selected projects will receive free or discounted access to museum venues for meetings, workshops, celebrations, and community‑care activities. No application fee is required. Two streams are offered: a fixed‑deadline proposal submission (deadline 4 p.m. on September 4, 2026) for program ideas, and a rolling‑basis request for space, reviewed monthly. Applicants can submit proposals via the online form linked on the City of Toronto website and may request a copy of the program guidelines or accommodations by contacting the project coordinator, James Booker.
