Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

Kunstlicht, an academic journal for art, visual culture and architecture, invites scholars, writers, artists and cultural practitioners to contribute to its upcoming 2027 issue (Vol. 48, no 1/2) under the theme ‘Reframing Dutch Caribbean Art History: Representation, Memory and Decolonial Imaginaries’. The call seeks visual artworks, academic articles, reviews, interviews, hybrid essays, poems and other formats that explore post‑colonial ruptures, memory, and decolonial perspectives in Dutch Caribbean visual art. Submissions are open to creators at all career stages, with a particular focus on Dutch Caribbean artists, curators, researchers and cultural institutions. Contributors must submit a CV or portfolio together with an abstract (max 300 words) for written pieces or a one‑page proposal for visual/experimental formats by 12 November 2026. Selected works will be published in the journal (May–June 2027) and contributors receive two free copies of the issue; the papers will later be added to a freely accessible online archive.
