Proyecto Bothy

Bothy Project is a unique and independent charity, providing arts residencies in bespoke small-scale, off-grid spaces to explore creativity, landscape and living simply. Our solo, off-grid residencies are unique. We welcome practitioners in visual arts, craft & design, music, literature and performance, as well as thinkers, researchers and people local to each bothy. Our Public Programme captures experiences and learning generated across residencies and shares it through talks, podcasts and posters. Our Residencies and Public Programme create behavioural change in relation to the climate emergency through increased cultural and environmental understanding – in residents, local and agency partners, and audiences.
