The Canada Council for the Arts’ Circulation and Touring program is part of the Arts Across Canada and Abroad initiative, designed to support Canadian artists, artistic groups, and arts organizations in bringing their work to new audiences. The program provides funding for the circulation and touring of artists, exhibitions, and artistic works, including travel, exhibition, and touring activities. Eligible applicants are Canadian artists, artistic groups, and arts organizations that wish to present, exhibit, or tour their work within Canada or internationally. The program offers financial support up to a maximum of $200,000 CAD, covering up to 50% of eligible costs. Applications are accepted on a recurring basis, with deadlines on January 28, June 3, and October 7 each year. The application process is conducted through the Canada Council’s online portal, and applicants may receive guidance and assistance through the Council’s resources and application assistance services.

Literary organizations, except for Indigenous Publishers, must presently receive a core grant from Supporting Artistic Practice: Literary Publishers to be eligible.
