Emerge 2026 Throwdown: Participant Application Ceramic Throwdown participant application! Come participate in our 6th annual Throwdown: A Ceramic Competition and Cup Frenzy. This event will take place on April 10th, 5pm - 9pm. The Throwdown Competition is a friendly throwing competition with challenges like throwing the widest plate, throwing the tallest cylinder, and throwing blindfolded. Our Cup Frenzy is a big cup sale - this is the main fundraising event for Emerge's pottery program. Participating potters donate 5 - 10 cups for sale. All of the cups will be available for $20 per cup (with a drink included). Potters participating in the Throwdown must donate at least 5 cups to the Cup Frenzy.
