The Anna Cornelis Fund, established in 1991, supports independent research of photographers and grants them the time to carry out and complete documentary photography projects with a social documentary aspect. The grant is open to professional and emerging photographers who live and work in the Netherlands or the Caribbean part of the Kingdom (Aruba, Bonaire, Curaçao, Saba, Sint Eustatius, Sint Maarten). Eligible costs may include travel, accommodation, printing, interpreter/translator fees, honorarium and other related expenses. Applications are accepted once a year; the next call opens in spring 2026 with a submission deadline of 1 May 2027 (08:00). Applicants must submit a project description, budget, CV and the English application form. No application fee is required. The fund does not cover production of photo books, websites, exhibitions or art projects beyond the listed costs. Successful applicants receive financial support of an unspecified amount to cover the listed expenses.
