Acerca de Esta Oportunidad

ACRE (Artists' Cooperative Residency & Exhibitions) is an artist‑run, community‑driven organization based in Steuben, Wisconsin. The 2026 residency program runs in three 14‑day sessions from June to August, offering emerging artists a dedicated studio space, mentorship from resident artists, and the chance to exhibit their work at ACRE’s on‑site exhibitions. Applicants must be at least 21 years old, possess a working knowledge of English, and be in the early stages of their practice; an academic background is not required. The application deadline is November 20, 2026, with a $60 application fee for submissions made after November 10. A free application period runs from October 4 to 13. The residency fee is $700 per 14‑day session, which covers studio costs and basic support, though financial aid is available on a limited basis. The program emphasizes community, collaboration, and professional growth, and it culminates in public exhibitions that showcase the work produced during the residency. Applicants are encouraged to submit a portfolio, a brief statement, and a CV, and they may apply individually or as part of a collaborative group. The program is open to artists worldwide, provided they meet the eligibility criteria and can commit to the residency dates.
