Residencia de artistas medioambientales de la AAN

The Artists Association of Nantucket (AAN) offers a Funded Environmental Artist Residency, a month‑long immersive program designed for artists whose practice engages with the environment, climate change, and the natural world. Selected artists will live and work on Nantucket for three weeks (April 11 – May 8, 2027), receiving housing in the Kaaren and Charles Hale Apartment for Artists in Residence, a private studio at AAN’s Visual Arts Center, a $3,000 stipend, $500 travel support, and a solo exhibition at AAN’s Champion Gallery. The residency includes community engagement activities such as workshops, artist talks, and collaborations with local environmental organizations. Applicants must be 18 or older, working in any medium, and be available for the residency dates. The call is open to both emerging and established artists worldwide. Applications are submitted as a PDF to lizb@nantucketarts.org by December 7, 2026. No application fee is required.
