Convocatoria abierta del proyecto «Beam Camp» 2027

Beam Center seeks ambitious design proposals for a public artwork to be realized during the 2027 Beam Camp season. The selected proposer will receive a $5,000 award and a $15,000 fabrication budget to develop a large‑scale project that will be built by more than 100 campers and 20+ staff members over approximately 50 hours in July 2027 at Beam Camp in Strafford, New Hampshire. Applicants may be artists, architects, engineers, builders, designers, technologists, or other creative individuals of any age from around the world. Proposals should include clear visual documentation (sketches, diagrams, renderings) and demonstrate feasibility with the camp’s facilities, which include wood and metal shops, welding, textile, ceramic, casting, technology labs, and audio equipment. Selected proposers will join bi‑weekly development meetings six months prior to construction, receive travel expense reimbursement, and have the opportunity to be present on‑site during part of the camp session.
