City of Redmond
Acerca de Esta Oportunidad
The City of Redmond is calling for artists to submit existing video works to be projected on the Buoyant Pavilion in Downtown Park as part of the 2026 Redmond Lights winter celebration. Selected videos will be displayed with no sound, looping alongside other works from December 4, 2026 to January 4, 2027. The call is open to individual artists or project teams. Submissions must meet technical guidelines: runtime no longer than 10 minutes, no amplified sound, 1920×1080 resolution preferred, high contrast and saturation for visibility on the water wall. The selection panel will evaluate proposals based on compliance with guidelines, suitability for the location and event, and artistic merit, originality, and creativity. Selected artists will receive a $500 stipend as compensation for presentation permission of an existing work. The City reserves the right to document accepted works for promotional purposes and to alter the selection process if necessary. Applications are submitted online via the City’s Form Center, with a statement of interest, the video (link or upload), and a resume, to CulturalArts@Redmond.Gov. The deadline for submissions is Sunday, August 30, 2026, 11 p.m. PST, with selection announced September 14, 2026.
