Windgate-Künstlerresidenz in Wood

The Museum for Art in Wood, in partnership with the maker space NextFab, invites applications for the 2027 Windgate Arts Residency in Wood. The residency is open to artists based in the Greater Philadelphia region who work primarily in wood or combine wood with other materials, and whose proposed work must incorporate at least 50 % reclaimed wood. Selected fellow receives a stipend for project materials, full access to NextFab’s workshop facilities, and a solo exhibition at NextFab (1800 N. American Street) on March 11 2027, followed by a public exhibition through June 10 2027. The program runs from January 4 to March 4 2027, offering a supportive environment for research‑based, sustainable practice. No application fee is required. Travel allowance is provided. Applications are submitted via an online Google Form.
