Wave Hill Aufruf zur Einreichung von Raumvorschlägen für das Sunroom-Projekt 2026

The Sunroom Project Space at Wave Hill offers artists in the early stages of their careers—regardless of age—who reside within a 50‑mile radius of the Bronx a chance to develop and showcase a site‑specific solo project in the Sunroom or Sun Porch of Glyndor Gallery. Selected artists receive a $2,000 honorarium, exhibition and professional‑development support, and nine to twelve months to research and develop their ideas. The program includes a Meet the Artist component, a short exhibition essay, and promotional opportunities. Applications are submitted via SlideRoom and are reviewed by a jury of Wave Hill’s Curator of Visual Arts, a guest curator, and a prior Sunroom artist. An information session is held online on July 13. The call is open to artists working across media, in the early stages of their career, and living within the specified radius. Exclusions include enrolled students, artists with commercial gallery representation, previous Sunroom participants, and those who took part in the 2026 Winter Workspace program.
