Voices With Impact (AOM) is launching its 2027 Film Grant, a $7,500 USD production grant for filmmakers who wish to create a 5‑minute film centered on the concept of Sanctuary as it relates to mental health. The grant provides not only funding but also a comprehensive support package that includes regular production meetings, story consultations, industry mentorship, and mental‑health feedback to ensure artistic development and successful production. Selected films will be integrated into AOM’s mental‑health curriculum and distributed through a network of over 350 educational partners across North America. Filmmakers will also receive assistance in developing festival strategies, with past VWI films earning more than 200 festival selections. The call is open to individual filmmakers or teams, with a particular emphasis on under‑represented voices. Proposals must be submitted between August 4 2026 and September 14 2026, with the award announced in late October and production commencing in November. The final film is due by mid‑April 2027, with a world premiere scheduled for early June.
