The SCAPE Urban Art Residency, previously known as the SCAPE Street Art Residency, is a six‑month residency running from August 2026 to January 2027. It is designed for young and emerging visual artists (aged 18‑34) who are Singaporean citizens or permanent residents. Residents will develop work across murals, public installations and exhibition‑based formats, engage in group discussions, participatory workshops, and receive mentorship from the local street‑art collective RSCLS. The programme provides a monthly stipend of SGD 300, access to SCAPE spaces (walls, residency studio) and Aliwal Art Centre wall spaces, and the opportunity to showcase work at COMMA 2027 and Singapore Art Week 2027. Applications close on 31 July 2026 (23:59 hrs). Required submission materials include a short artist statement, a project proposal, CV, and at least two recent works or a portfolio link. The residency does not provide housing or travel support. It is a recurring annual call, with this edition opening in 2026.
