Vinylfolien für Verkehrssteuerungsboxen 2026–27

The City of Chandler is seeking eight Arizona‑based artists or artist teams to create digital artwork that will be printed and installed as vinyl wraps on metal traffic control boxes throughout the city. While digital illustration is preferred, photographers, painters, drawers, printmakers and other 2D artists are also welcome. Selected artists will collaborate with ASU students from the Chandler Creative Arts Fellowship Program, receiving support from ASU staff and meeting in‑person for research and design development. Artists will be paid a stipend of $1,600 per box, with all production and installation costs covered by the City. The call is a request for qualifications (RFQ); applicants submit a portfolio of past work, a CV, and up to five images of completed projects via an online form. The deadline for qualification submissions is 11:59 PM MST on Monday, August 31 2026. The project timeline includes selection in late September, contract finalization in early October, research with fellows through December, design drafts in February, and installation in March, followed by a wrap‑up celebration in April.
