Das Labor für urbane Kultur

The Urban Culture Laboratory, hosted by CENTQUATRE-PARIS in Paris, is a residency program that invites independent artists, collectives, troupes, and organizations from all urban culture disciplines and geographical horizons to conduct a 50‑hour research and creation residency. Participants receive a dedicated workspace and, if needed, technical and artistic support to explore questions around the notion of public space, its origins, practical aspects, form, and representation. The residency operates on a rolling basis with no fixed deadline, and applications are free of charge. The program accommodates up to fifteen participants per year and emphasizes interdisciplinary collaboration within the urban culture field.
