Das „Unfinished Project“-Stipendium (Alserkal Arts Foundation)
Alserkal Arts Foundation
Über Diese Gelegenheit
The Unfinished Project Grant is a one‑time completion grant announced by Alserkal Arts Foundation to support practitioners whose projects are stalled and need a financial push to reach completion. The grant targets artists, curators, writers and makers working in visual and performing arts, moving image, sound, curatorial practice and writing, who have an established practice and are based in or originate from Southwest Asia and North Africa (SWANA). Applicants must be 21 years or older and present a clear, urgent, and feasible plan to finish a project that is already substantially developed. The grant covers a single installment of funds that can be used for equipment rental, studio space, editing services, translation, honorariums, and other production‑related costs, but excludes personal items, hardware purchases, tuition, and participation fees. Applications are submitted online via Slideroom by August 16, 2026, and must include a CV, portfolio PDF, abstract, detailed project proposal with budget, and a letter of recommendation. The Foundation will review proposals based on the project's current stage, completion pathway, and the relevance to the SWANA region. Selected recipients will receive financial support and close collaboration with the Foundation to ensure proper disbursement.
