‘The Shapes of Water’ is a call to artist exhibit hosted by Gualala Arts Burnett Gallery in Gualala, California. The theme invites artists to explore the many manifestations of water—oceans, lakes, rain, clouds, and dew—through their chosen media. The call is open to members of the Gualala Arts North Coast Artist Guild, with scholarships available for low‑income artists. Artists may submit up to three works, each no older than two years. The entry deadline is November 24, 2026, and the exhibit will run from December 4 to January 3, 2027. Registration fees are $15 for works for sale and $20 for works not for sale. Gualala Arts retains a 30 % commission on all sales during the show and requests a 10 % contribution from any future sales resulting from exposure. All artwork must be professionally prepared for hanging or display, with specific guidelines on mounting and maximum width. The gallery provides exhibition space, professional preparation guidance, and support for artwork delivery. Artists must agree to allow images of their work to be used for publicity.
