The Fine Odd – Internationale offene Ausschreibung für Künstler*innen (Hand-Fetish-Projekte)

The Fine Odd is a Q1‑2027 fine‑art publication by Hand‑Fetish‑Projects (HFP) that invites artists worldwide to submit works that engage with the condition of "oddness". The call is divided into two volumes: Volume I focuses on photography, welcoming conceptual, documentary, staged, experimental, analogue, digital, fashion, retouched and other photographic practices; Volume II welcomes illustration, painting, drawing, collage, printmaking, digital art and other print‑based visual practices. Artists may submit up to ten pieces depending on the chosen tier—Basic, Standard or Limited—each with a different submission fee (USD 15–49, rising to USD 20–59 from November 1). Selected artists receive 2‑4 double‑page spreads in the printed and digital artbook, a dedicated archive page on HFP, a free digital copy, and potential exhibition and distribution opportunities. The call is open to all artists regardless of age, nationality, or formal training, and is judged by a curatorial panel. The submission deadline is December 15, 2026, with an early‑bird deadline of October 31, 2026.
