Über Diese Gelegenheit

The Bank of America Art Conservation Project™, now in its 2027 edition, offers grant funding to non‑profit museums, cultural institutions and conservation organizations worldwide to preserve artworks of cultural heritage significance. Launched in 2010, the program supports projects involving paintings, works on paper, photographs, sculpture, architectural pieces, books, manuscripts, textiles and decorative arts that are at risk of deterioration and are or will be on public view. Applications are accepted from August 1 to September 30, 2026, with decisions announced by March 31, 2027. Eligible applicants must be charitable organizations (U.S. 501(c)(3) or equivalent abroad), own the artwork(s), and commit to returning the conserved pieces to public display. Grants cover conservation costs with no set maximum; funding amounts are determined based on project budgets. Awardees receive additional benefits such as project visits, a complimentary reception event, inclusion in Bank of America’s publicity campaign, and a five‑year credit line. Applications are submitted via the CyberGrants portal, and detailed guidelines are available in the program’s PDF. The program emphasizes transparency, reporting, and adherence to ethical standards throughout the conservation process.
