Stellvertretender Leiter (Öffentlichkeitsarbeit & Gemeinschaft), NewYVC (freiberuflich)

Spitalfields Music, a creative charity in East London, is recruiting a freelance Co‑Director (Outreach & Community) for NewYVC – an inclusive, open‑access vocal collective based at Spotlight, Tower Hamlets. The role provides artistic leadership, working alongside the other Co‑Director to design and deliver high‑quality musical experiences that foster confidence, wellbeing and creativity among young participants. Responsibilities include directing rehearsals, planning outreach activities, building partnerships with schools and community organisations across East London, and contributing to the collective’s artistic vision. The position reports to the Chief Executive & Artistic Director and collaborates with the Project Coordinator and General Manager. Compensation consists of a session fee of £150 per approximately four‑hour session and a retainer of £350 per academic term to cover planning, administration and meetings, with an expectation of around seven sessions per term.
