SSA – 128. JÄHRLICHE AUSSTELLUNG: OFFENE AUSSCHREIBUNG

SSA 128th Annual Exhibition Open Call invites artists to submit site‑specific installations, performances, and unrealised proposals for the 2027 exhibition at the Royal Scottish Academy, The Mound, Edinburgh. The call is open to artists of all backgrounds and disciplines, encouraging ambitious new work created specifically for the space or existing work that can be repurposed. Submissions must be site‑specific or performance‑based, or an unrealised idea that will only be realised if selected. The exhibition will run from 14 February to 10 March 2027, with artwork completion due 7 December 2026 and delivery on 8–9 February 2027. The SSA Annual Exhibition is produced entirely by artists with no public funding, making it a unique platform for contemporary art in Scotland. The call closes on 21 September 2026 at 12 noon. Selected works will be exhibited at the Royal Scottish Academy, and the exhibition will feature both SSA members and non‑members, as well as recipients of the 2026 SSA New Graduates Awards and invited artists.
