Leitender Kurator am Swiss Institute („SI“)

Swiss Institute (“SI”) is an independent non‑profit contemporary art institution in New York, USA. The organization seeks an accomplished, visionary, and globally engaged curator to serve as Senior Curator. The role is a full‑time, exempt position reporting to the Director and supervising the Head of Gallery Operations and the Associate Curator, Public Programs & Residencies. Responsibilities include leading the development and delivery of SI’s exhibition season, commissions, off‑site projects, public programs, publications, and digital initiatives; shaping a multi‑year curatorial strategy; managing budgets, staff, and partnerships; overseeing exhibition design, documentation, and archiving; and representing SI publicly. The position requires a minimum of six years of museum curatorial experience, a Master’s degree, and legal authorization to work in the United States. Compensation includes a $90,000 annual salary and a competitive benefits package (health, dental, vision, HRA, 401k, commuter benefits, and generous paid time off).
