SAVE / DIE / RETRY – Ein Reinfall? Gruppenausstellung

A Mess Up? is a group exhibition at A Space Gallery that celebrates happy accidents. Artists are asked to submit works that began with a real, unplanned mistake—such as a spill, a ruined exposure, or a structural failure—and that they chose to continue developing rather than start over. Submissions must include an explanation of the original intention, what went wrong, how the artist continued working with the mistake, and how the final result differs from the plan. Process photos or sketches are welcome. The exhibition will run from November 20 to November 29, 2026, and will feature an interactive ceremony where visitors can applaud each mistake. Eligibility is open to all visual artists working in any medium. No submission fee is required. The deadline for applications is November 8, 2026. Submissions are made via a Google Form linked below.
