STRUT-Residenz

The Mill Adelaide, in partnership with STRUT (Western Australia), invites South Australian dance artists to apply for the 2026 STRUT Residency. Selected artists will receive a one‑week residency at King Street Arts Centre in Perth from 30 November to 4 December 2026. The program provides a $1,300 artist fee per artist (plus 12% superannuation), $1,071 diems per artist, $1,400 accommodation, $1,200 travel costs, and $600 for video/photo documentation. Residents also gain access to a hot desk, technical support (lighting and projection), a public studio showing, sector connections, and the opportunity to teach STRUT’s public and professional classes. Eligibility is limited to South Australian artists who have lived in the state for at least six months of the past year. Applications close on 15 October 2026 at 9.30 am. The residency aims to foster national conversations in dance and support the development and presentation of contemporary dance, dance theatre, and physical theatre works.
